        Great place to take your wife

        I have always gone with the guys to cattlemens, but a couple of years ago I took my wife. It is now our favorite place to go and eat great steaks, and just be together. I highly recommend for couples.( and you don't have to dress up,to enjoy,or fit in.

        Cattlemen review

        I have had several meals at Cattlemen's. Several were very good. But several were average at best. One time the A/C wasn't working. Another time the steak was really small and tough. Bottom line....the atmosphere/nostalgia is nice but it has been hit or miss regarding a good dining experience.

        a good 3 star cowbow-style steakhouse

        When I asked around as to where was the best steakhouse on OK-City, everyone said Cattlemans. So I checked it out. Long line ran out the door. Ate at counter with no wait. Sort of a diner type atmosphere. Steak was good, but NOT 5 stars, atmosphere was 3 stars. Just not a place I would go to celebrate a birthday. Found Mickey Mantles to be the place to go for fine dining instead that night.

        I always enjoy my trip to Cattlemen's Steak House, from the atmosphere to the great staff to the excellent food. It is always fun.

        They do have great steaks. But don't miss out on their turkey and dressing or also their catfish. I usually get the catfish.

        Right in the heart of the OKC stockyards, this modest restaurant has great steaks and all the fixins'. Makes you feel like a cowboy while you're dining at Cattleman's.

        Classic OKC steakhouse

        This is where the president comes to eat when he's in town. Perfect spot in the stockyards to feel authentic enough to dig into steaks this good. Occasionally they overcook em...so be specific about how you want them to come out.

        Founded in 1910, Cattlemen's Steakhouse is one of the oldest operating restaurants in Oklahoma City. Its clients include several famous personalities, such as Gene Autry, John Wayne, Ronald Reagan and Reba McIntyre. The restaurant s menu features bone steaks, strip and chopped sirloin, pepper and ham steaks, filet mignon, filets, and rib-eye and chicken-fried steaks. Its side dishes include french fries, onion rings and baked potato. Its desserts include fruit and cream pies, ice cream, pie ala mode and strawberry shortcake. The restaurant also has a children s menu that includes chicken strips and choice of potato, spaghetti with meat sauce and corn dog and french fries.
